WHO IS SHE?

Hola! 
I am Daniela Belmonte, a Mexican 3D Character Animator based in Barcelona. I am a person with a strong love and passion for animation, film, dance and otters. I've worked these years, and continue to do so, to assure that my work is able to achieve the best quality possible but always having in mind that at the heart of every great animation resides the storytelling. 

My first approach with animation was while studying Animation and Digital Art, back in Mexico City, and it was love at first sight. Although it was definitely not my best subject I kept on looking for opportunities to keep practicing. That's how I ended up at a summer intensive in Vancouver Film School and later in Barcelona at Pepe School Land. In this last one I reafirmed my passion for animation and discover that if I combined it with storytelling it was like having a superpower. After finishing my studies I've had the opportunity to work on differente projects. I worked as Junior Character Animator for  "Paranoia - Heartsteel" music video for League of Legends and also for the virtual reality videogame "Lumen" between others. I am proud to describe myself as an efficient person who is able to meet tight deadlines without sacrificing quality. I am someone who loves to be out of her confort zone and to stay constantly learning. Let's get to know each other, hopefully work together and talk more about animation or otters.
